An epoxy floor is a system, not a single coat. Here is how a floor walks from bare slab to a sealed, glossy surface you can park on — the order we keep on every job.
The slab is mechanically ground to open the concrete, and oil, paint and old coatings are stripped back. Coatings only bond as well as the prep underneath — so this is where the time goes.
Cracks, pits and control joints are filled and re-cut to spec. The part nobody sees is the part that stops a coating from telegraphing every flaw in the slab.
A penetrating primer keys into the slab, then the epoxy base goes down wet, edge to edge, before it sets. Resin doesn’t wait — the crew moves with it from the first pour to the last.
Broadcast colour flake, a poured metallic swirl, or a clean solid — the finish is chosen for the room. A garage gets grip and hides tire marks; a showroom gets depth and shine.
A clear UV-stable topcoat seals it all in, then the floor cures before traffic. Cured right, it shrugs off oil, salt, hot tires and a mop for years.
A few of the floors the crew is on most weeks. Photos are stock placeholders — we’d swap in the company’s own job-site floors before launch.

Hard-wearing shop and warehouse coatings, showroom floors and line-marked bays that take forklifts and foot traffic.
Densifiers, sealers and resurfacing that lock out moisture and dust and hold their line through a wet coastal winter.

A floor on the coast lives through damp slabs, road salt and hot tires. The difference between a coating that lasts and one that peels in a season is the prep, the primer and the cure — the parts you can’t see once the topcoat goes down.
“Grind it open, prime it right, and give it time to cure. The rest is just rolling resin.”
