On the Boardwalk
Your eyes change quietly. We're here to notice.
Most of what an eye exam catches, you'd never feel coming. Vision drifts a little at a time. Pressure creeps. The first signs of cataracts, glaucoma or macular change show up on the chart long before they show up in your day. That's the whole point of a thorough exam — to find the small things while they're still small, and to keep what's working, working.
Boardwalk Optometry has done that work on the South Surrey Boardwalk since 1989 — for kids having their first exam, for parents who've worn glasses for decades, and for the eyes that have earned a little extra attention. The instruments are modern; the pace is not rushed.
"The best eye exam is the one that catches the thing you couldn't feel yet."
We're not a quick-prescription counter. You'll have time at the chair, a clear explanation of what we see, and a plan you actually understand — whether that's new lenses, a treatment, or simply "all good, see you next year."
