There is a kind of shop you only notice when you need it. A florist is one of them. You walk past it a hundred times — and then one week it's the first place you call.
In the Village at Thunderbird Centre, that shop is small. A cooler, a wrapping bench, buckets of stems brought in fresh that morning. Nothing fancy. But it's where the flowers for this neighbourhood's weddings get tied, and where its families turn when there's a funeral to send flowers to.
