A movement comes apart to the last jewel, then goes back together cleaner than it arrived.

Disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, fresh lubrication, a new mainspring where it's tired, a poise on the balance, and days on the timing machine before it leaves. Nothing leaves the bench until it holds its rate.

A vintage case is cleaned, not erased.

Over-polishing rounds the sharp lines a watch was born with. We clean conservatively, keep the original finish and patina, and only refinish when you ask for it — in writing, on the estimate.

Vintage automatics, hand-wounds and pocket watches all welcome. We'll tell you honestly what's worth doing and what isn't.
