This is an unsolicited concept from X9 Lab Media — a re-imagined storefront for Paper-Ya, the stationery & paper shop tucked into the Net Loft at Granville Island. The real shop is rated 4.5 from 294 Google reviews. We dressed the idea in graph paper and good type to show what an editorial, grid-driven site could feel like. Every photo and price on this page is a placeholder.
A modular grid of what the shop is built around. Imagery and pricing shown here are stand-ins — the real range and figures are for the owner to set.

Two things this shop knows by heart — the feel of good paper and the behaviour of real ink.

Weight, tooth and how a sheet takes a line. The range to stock spans pocket pads to loose leaves — the point is the hand-feel, chosen by people who touch a lot of paper.
Fountain ink shifts with paper, nib and the weather. A wall of bottled colour invites the slow kind of writing — the sort that makes you come back for the next shade.
Find the shop in the Net Loft. Details below the owner confirms; we've left them honest.
