Hand-tied bouquets
the everyday house specialty
Your colours, your occasion — gathered, spiral-tied and wrapped in paper while you wait.
fam. Floraceae · Burnaby, British Columbia
Fresh bouquets, gathered and tied by hand — while you wait.
A small mother-and-daughter flower shop near the New Westminster border. Walk in, tell us the occasion, and watch your bouquet come together stem by stem.

Manites is run by a mother and her daughter — two pairs of hands at the same bench, a kettle always on, and buckets of stems by the door. What began as one of them filling the house with flowers became a corner shop the whole neighbourhood now leans on.
We keep it small on purpose. Everything is made to order, in front of you, so a bouquet for a birthday, a sorry, or a plain old Tuesday is never more than a few minutes away. We learn the regulars' favourites and remember the anniversaries — that's the part we love most.
“Tell us who it's for and we'll know what to reach for.”

birthdays · sympathy · congratulations
Soft and celebratory or quiet and respectful — tell us the moment and we'll match it.
by appointment

the lasting things
Potted greenery and everlasting dried bunches for those who'd rather not say goodbye.
whatever is freshest
Single varieties straight from the day's buckets — by the stem or by the armful.
What we reach for shifts with the year. Choose a season to see what's likely on the bench.
— varieties vary week to week with the growers.
No order forms, no two-day wait. The whole thing happens at the bench, in front of you.
Tell us the colours, the occasion, and roughly the size. We'll point you to what's freshest today.
Hand-selected from the day's buckets and built in a spiral, turning as it grows in our hands.
Bound with twine, trimmed, and wrapped in kraft paper — ready to carry straight out the door.
Stand-in photographs for now — swap in your own bouquets when ready.
