Heirloom redesign
The heirloom,
reborn.
Grimson & Sons Atelier is a Vancouver goldsmith with 5.0 stars on 204 reviews — bespoke rings and heirloom redesign, by hand in the heritage Rogers Building. This is an unsolicited concept from X9 Lab Media; photos are placeholders we would finalise with the shop.
A redesign, in five movements.
An inherited ring rarely arrives ready to wear. We follow one through the bench — from the piece as received, to wax, to cast, to set, to the ring it becomes. Scroll the spread.
At the bench
Bespoke & restoration.
Everything is made and finished by hand in the shop. Pricing is honest and quoted per piece — there are no catalogue prices for one-of-a-kind work.

The hand behind the work
“Old gold isn't scrap. It's the part of the story you get to keep.”
Much of the bench work here is the patient kind — the resizing, the retipping, the redesign of a ring someone has worn for fifty years. Goldsmith David French works the metal directly, by hand, the way a small atelier always has.
