Most gift shops buy their stock by the carton. We don't. Since 2013 we've handed our five rooms to local artists — more than fifty of them — and let their work fill the shelves.
That's the whole idea, and it's the thing the current site never says out loud: every card, mug, print and knit in here was made by someone who lives nearby. Buy one, and the money goes straight back to them.
Every purchase supports a local artist. That's the shop.
