An Italian deli, grocer and bakery on 224th — named for the two women the owner cooks for, his mother and his daughter. An imported deli counter, bread out of the oven, custom cakes and catering platters made the way they were always made.

Two names over one door.
Bella Nonna’s carries the name of the owner’s mother and his daughter — one generation that taught the recipes and one that’ll inherit them. It’s the kind of place where the deli case, the grocery shelf and the bakery rack all live under one roof: you come in for a loaf and leave with a wedge of cheese, a jar of something imported, and a cake order for Sunday. Nothing here is in a hurry, and that’s the whole point.
